Welcome back astronomy enthusiasts! Glad to see everyone is still around, my blog is still here and I am still able to type these words! I guess planet Nabiru never showed , north is still north, and no other cataclysmic cosmic events to speak of. Or maybe that dude in Arizona was able to jump through the hole in the sky that formed yesterday and prevented the aliens from shutting down the Matrix program, thus saving the world. Whatever the case, we can thankfully go on enjoying the wonders of the Universe.
By the way if you haven't seen Dr Phil Plait's 'Bad Astronomy' blog you should check it out. He does an excellent job debunking conspiracy theories and explaining astronomical phenomena.
At any rate not much to report from the Space Hut. I was able to acquire 8 hours and 45 minutes of NGC7331 luminance data but because of weather that was it. I'll have to continue next summer. Next we will take a break from deep space and take advantage of Jupiter's favorable position to do some planetary observing. Until then Happy Holidays!
